This is a new artist for Stampavie and I can tell you the DT are VERY excited about these images – way too cute! Is Ruffles Cute…or what? But the poor little thing has a hurt paw.. so he needs to stay up on this adorable chair and get better! For my card, I started with a white card stock, then pulled out one of my all time favorite paper collection. DCWV Nana’s Girls Nursery Glitter stack. I matted the circles in the sketch with scraps of light green card stock, and gel pen stitched them. I used my favorite Satin Ribbon in the deep rose color for a band across the middle, with a Get Well Soon sentiment. The flowers are felt flowers and leaves from Creative Imaginations, with Doodlebug sugared brads.

I’ve needed some BOYISH cards, so here goes… Ruffles has a birthday!
It is called Ruffles Party. I think its beyond cute. Best part of these images is they are so gender neutral, which is a plus when you have girls AND boys. My mojo was still away when I made this, so I kept it simple.
I love the COLOR. I don’t think it needed to be overdone with tons of layering. I had a blast coloring it most. I have been itching to use it for some time now, and was FINALLY able to ink’er up. Cute, detailed , but not too overwhelming. I felt it was boyish until my son pointed out the fact I added a PINK button-and colored a pink balloon! I could just slap myself! He said its NOT a boy card if it has ANY girl colors-like pink. A point I will remember in the future!! I would not have thought otherwise, had he not said that. So I guess I’ll find a girl to give it to, or someone LESS observant!!

When I first saw the Helz Cuppleditch images by Stampavie, I was immediately in LOVE! They are so darling! This image in particular somehow stood out for me. It is charming, heartwarming and just a “feel good” image, isn’t it? I used to have a very similar heart satchet that hung from my dresser knob like this one years ago. Does the flower pot look familiar? Here I colored and cut out an extra lamp and turned it upside down for a pot to put the flowers in!

This is from artist Helz Cuppleditch and is called "Teddy Say it with flowers". How wonderful is she??? Perfect for Nesties Oval die cuts huh? She is colored with my Copics. For the card I started with a light pink card stock as the base, as well as a scalloped oval to mat behind my image. I doodled around the image with a white gel pen.
Now how pretty and soft are those papers? They are a new stack from K & Co. and I think it is called WP Gypsy Baby - I just feel in love with it, such pretty patterns! I picked three patterns, the stripes I added a Martha Stewart Double Dot Scalloped border punch and then sewed down everything, oh after I inked the edges with a pale pink ink. Now it was time for my "Floral Fantasy" ..
