Die Karte habe ich mit dem süßen “Michelle’s lil’ donkey” von Tina Wenke in meinen Lieblingsfarben aus schönem sandfarbenem und rosa Bazzill, olivgrünem Prism Cardstock und dem schönen Chatterbox Designpapier gemacht. Davon hatte ich nur noch einen Rest, aber für Michelle soll es nur das Beste sein! Den Esel habe ich dann mit runden Spellbinders ausgestanzt und die Karte mit Jute- und Schleifenband sowie Blumen, Brads, Halbperlen und Martha Stewart Blättern verziert.

I made this card with the cute “Michelle’s little donkey” from Tina Wenke in my fave colors and used craft and pink Bazzill, olive Prism cardstock and the beautiful Chatterbox pattern paper. I only had a piece of it left but I only want the best for Michelle! I cut the donkey with circle Spellbinders and added some jute and normal ribbon as well as flowers, brads, beads and Martha Stewart leaves.

Den süßen Esel habe ich auf 190g Papier ausgedruckt, da es ja ein Digi Stamp ist, und dann mit Aquarellstiften coloriert. Optimal ist das mit dem Papier zwar nicht, aber ich bin ja nicht so gut im Umgang mit Markern und wollte meinem Stil treu bleiben.

I printed the cute donkey onto 190g paper, you know it’s a digi stamp, and colored with watercolor pencils. The paper isn’t the best for watercoloring techniques but I’m not good with markers and I wanted to stay in my own style.

Hello!  Today it’s my turn to post a Stampavie project and this time I have 2 to share.

Is this Berry Sweet paper not fun?  I love it!  And this layout is great for using up scraps!

I used one of my Lelo Designs images called Little Susie.  Her dress is just perfect for paper piecing!

This is a great project for pulling out your punches!  They really add a lot to the finished project.

I hope you are staying cool wherever you are.  We are having hot, hot, hot weather!  Not good for trying to get projects done outside.  LOL.

I think you’ve all heard what happened to our dear friend Michelle. Since yesterday you can purchase Tina Wenke’s “Michelle’s lil’ donkey” digital stamp for $3 here. Of course I had to buy this cute donkey digi, too, isn’t it the cutest? And it reminds me sooo much of one of Michelle’s real donkeys. It’s my fave one! May I introduce Felicia?

Awww, isn’t she the cuuutest mini donkey ever? Inspired by all her cuteness I immediately sat down and made a card with Michelle’s special new digi stamp.

I used Stampin’ Up! craft and green Bazzill cardstock for the card’s base and then added Basic Grey’s Capella pattern paper. I just love the colors of this paper series! I used a simple layout for my card. I printed the digi stamp onto thick ink jet paper (190g) and cut it out with rectangle Spellbinders. In the end I added some matching flowers, pearl brads and pearls to my card.

You know I normally am the watercolor artist here at SAV but I gave my best with my Copic and Promarkers. I cheated with the hat and flowers and used my watercolor pencils to add some shadows but I was afraid to add them to the whole image because you know the printed image isn’t waterproof.

Hey! Did you know that I’m bookmark addicted again? Oh it’s so much fun to make these cute little gifts and this time I decided to take a Tina Wenke stamp again. I just love her images and esp. Hedgehog with Umbrella. It reminds me so much of CHA this year and the wonderful time together with Heidi, Michelle, Stuart and also Tina Wenke and her husband Mike. Time is running, we already have the end of June and CHA was in January…

But I better stop revelling in memories and tell you more about my bookmark! The base has been cut with the Cricut machine from dark brown Bazzill cardstock. The pattern paper (which I bought at CHA *lol*) is Fancy Pants and also cut with the Cricut as well as the small “For You” sentiment. Then I punched some grass with the Martha Stewart grass punch in dark brown and olive and the starflowers are made with the Martha Stewart Beach Shells punch, they are the leftovers from the sanddollars! In the end I added some fibers from my stash.

Cute Hedgie and her friend the bird are colored with watercolor pencils in the matching colors to the pattern paper. Unfortunately the green of the umbrella is too light here on the pictures but I think you know  how hard it is to catch the real colors. The cheeks are made with pink chalk and the dots with a white gel pen. As this image is one of my very faves from Tina I think I made myself a new bookmark now *grin*.

Hello! How are you today? How’s the weather in your place? We had wonderful sunny and warm springy days this week but now it’s colder again. But hey, winter is over and spring is there! This is why I decided to make a card with “Mouse with Sunflowers” from the wonderful Tina Wenke for today.

I started coloring this image in the airplane on my way to California/CHA in January *smile*. I showed Tina Wenke how I’m coloring my images with this one and finished the watercoloring yesterday evening. As the cute mouse is wearing a blue shirt I just had to make a blue card. Not my normal color but I like it.

The cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper DCWV. Of course I couldn’t resist to add some ribbon, the big border is made with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! and cut out with the oval SU punches. The flowers are from Magnolia and the leaf is an EK Success punch.

Isn’t that little guy cute? I’m so in love with all of Tina’s cute critters. I colored the mouse with Albrecht Duerer and Mondeluz watercolor pencils.

Who doesn’t love a Parade? And Tina Wenke’s Easter Parade is just too adorable for words!

I mean common.. chicks and a bunny pulling a giant Easter Egg… that is cute! LOL I have colored with my Copics – and then high lighted with white gel pen and Spica glitter pens.

For my card I went pastel of course :0)

To me Easter always  is pastel colors with lots of flowers, and lots of lace. Maybe it is all those Easter dresses Grandma made me as a kid?  Well my card had to do the same. I went through my scraps and found two pieces of pattern paper that went well together.  Sorry don’t know the names… I think the glitter pink may be My Minds Eye or DCWV. I used two Martha Stewart punches for the lace. The Extra Large lace band is one of my favorites. I layered the back of it with light purple card stock. (that was also used for the mat behind the image too) Then the second punch is her scallop lace, love it. And now for all of those flowers… I went through my box and pulled out as many felt pastel flowers and leaves as I could find in the stash! LOL I used mini brads to put them down. I didn’t use a sentiment, as the image already says it all!

Today is my last day to show you my last CHA sample cards. I still have three Tina Wenke cards left to show you. I just adore her new line and I bet that you will love her cute spring/summer critters, too. I hope you enjoyed and still enjoy our 40 days of CHA samples as much as I do.

I had a lot of fun while coloring the new “Mice Kissing” image from the new collection by Tina Wenke. And now you know that you can use the Martha Stewart Pine Needles punch the whole year through and not only for Christmas *smile*. The cardstock I used for my card is like the one from Bazzill and the pattern paper is BasicGrey.

The beautiful sentiment is from the Rachelle Anne Miller “Sentiments 2” set. It’s more than matching to the cute mice from Tina, isn’t it? I added a heart charm to the sheer ribbon.

This is “Rabbit in Watering Can“. Isn’t it perfect for spring or Easter cards? I love that image! It is matching perfectly into the Spellbinders Labels 4. The pattern paper is from Cosmo Cricket and the sentiment again from Rachelle Anne Miller’s “Sentiments 2” set. These sentiments are so beautiful!

And this is “Mouse in Hammock“. First I was a little bit afraid of coloring this image BUT it was so much fun and I love how it turned out. The pattern paper is October Afternoon (I think) and the Cardstock is Bazzill. I used a bunch of punches and cut out some grass by hand. I used one of the wonderful Rachelle Anne Miller sentiments from the “Sentiments 1” set and added some pearls.

The pattern papers edges have been inked in brown. I used the Albrecht Dürer and Supracolor II Caran d’Ache water color pencils to color the images. The light yellow shadow is made with 020 Tombow. In the end I added some accents with a white gel pen.

Hello! Wow these days of Samples have been wonderful haven’t they? I can’t believe it is coming to an end… but I do know that all of the DT have still been playing with all of the new images and I am sure you will still be seeing a lot of  “samples” :0)

So for my last “official” day of the 40 days of Samples I am showing off a few of my Tina Wenke samples. My first card is “Giving Flowers” – I just love how sweet this image is – so “friendly” .  I colored with my Copics – I wanted some corners on this one, but I couldn’t find anything that was working… then I saw the hearts that made up the flowers in the pattern paper – perfect! I used my Fiskars squeeze punch and used hearts!

My second card is fun! I just love these bubbles! The image is Hedgehog Popping Bubbles – And seriously the image is adorable…but the bubbles are just too fun to try new things with! I colored with my Copics.. but used LOTS of stickles for those bubbles… next time I think Divisional glaze would be great too! Oh and that sentiment is a Stampavie stamp… one of the Rachelle Anne Miller Sentiment… really a great set of sentiments.

Today I am going to show you my card, which I have made with a lovely stamp form Tina Wenke. De little hedhog is so adorrable, it speaks for itself. The stamp is called “Hedehog Popping Bubbles”. To make this card I have used only a few colours of Distress Ink, Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick, Walnut Stain, Black Soot, Vintage Photo, Weathered Wood and Brushed Corduroy.

For my card I have used papers from Magnolia en the flowers are from Pirma Marketing. The leaves I have made with a punch from Martha Stewart. The ribbon comes from a local shop.

This is the card from the other side. As you can see, I have put on the bubbles Glossy-Accent.

I sure hope you did enjoy looking at my card. Tomorrow, will show Diane her samples she has made with the stamps from Sarah Kay!

Hello!  Today is Day 17 of Stampavie’s 40 days of CHA samples.  And today I’m sharing a few projects with some of Tina Wenke’s new mice images.  So cute!  :0)

This first card is one of my favorites that I made for CHA.  Partly because I love the bright, cheery colors and also because clear cards are so fun to make! 

At the time, I didn’t have any clear acetate that was heavy enough for the card base so I recycled an empty clear box (that once held paper flowers, I think).  The piece wasn’t quite as tall as I’d liked so that’s how I ended up with the designer papers on the bottom.  ;0)  The sentiment is from the Rachelle Anne Miller collection and fits the card perfectly, don’t you think? 

Next, I decorated a little favor bag that I picked up at Target a few years ago.  Gotta love those clearance buys!  lol.  These little bags are so easy to alter.

This little mouse is making me wish for warmer days so we can hang our hammock outside again! 

And last for today, here’s a sweet mouse with a sunflower. 

For this card, I started with a sketch…Mojo Monday’s #113.  Then I added some brads to each corner of the main image and wrapped a piece of linen thread around them and tied it to make a frame.  The butterfly was punched twice and layered, with the top wings folded upward.
