Are you having a good weekend? I am sure when this goes live I will be having a blast

I’ve another sneak peek from Stampavie for you, and this time I tried something totally different for me … I decorated a kraft gift bag and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I have got plans of doing loads of these for Christmas (if I ever get ahead of myself for Christmas that is lol)

This is Alaina with Kittens by Penny Johnson, the sentiment is from one of the new sentiment sets by Tina Wenke.

I have an Sarah Kay card today it was one of the first Sarah Kay stamps I ever bought.

The stamp is Picnic Time. I have teamed her up with Prima papers. Isn’t she just a little sweetie!

Hi there everyone! It´s New Years Eve and we are approaching the end of 2011.
Im going to show my last christmas card, for this time:

I´ve used Tina Wenkes Sam Skating together with some lovely Maja Design papers.

Sam is coloured with Promarkers on Letraset Cartridge Paper (270 g).

Im wishing you all A HAPPY NEW YEAR and a good start on 2012.

Hello! It is my turn to make a post today and I have a book-card with Penny Johnson`s adorable image: Cute little Anna to show.

I used Kraft cardstock for the base and Design-papers from Pion Design.

I have painted the image with Distress Ink and distressed the edges

with Crackle Paint; Picket fence and Distress Ink: Walnut Stain

A christmas album…

Hi there! Today im going to show you something a little different for me.
For each Christmas I make a little album where I put photos and stories from the holiday. I save the kids wishlists, our grocery list and all those other lovely memories. This year Im making it a little mixed media, with lots af different textures and fabrics…

One of the sides in the album are an acrylic cover. I painted it with Gesso and stamped with some of Stampavies lovely sentiments from Holiday Wishes. It made a really cool effect!

And here comes a little close up on the album it self…

Happy Holidays

Hi Everyone! It’s hard to believe it is already December. Christmas will be here before we know it! For my post today, I thought I would pull out another one of the Christmas images from Stampavie. This image is called Gifts for You and is from Penny Johnson.

I used some patterned papers from Echo Park’s Season’s Greetings papers pad and some crocheted lace from May Arts. I added some buttons and baker’s twine along with a little Christmas tree charm.

I used a sentiment from Tina Wenke’s Holiday Wishes sentiment set. After coloring my image, I sponged some antique linen and tea dye distress inks around the edges of my image.

Then, I added some white fun flock to Santa’s cap and the cuffs of his coat. I used a gelly roll pen (from Sakura) to add a little sparkle to the stars and snowflakes.

Tobi and her deer…

Hello Stampavie friends! Today it´s my time here in the blog and Im going to show you a Stair Card with little Tobi and her dearest deer from the Laurence Design. Can you believe that it´s already December and it´s not long until Christmas!

Im combined the stamps with lovely papers from Maja Design and lots of flowers. On the space below the image I´ve stamped a sentiment from Joy to the World.

The image is colored with Promarkers on Letraset Cartridge Papers (270 gr). I´ve used following colors:

Skin: Sunkissed Pink, Dusky Pink, Blush, Ivory
Clothes/Flower/Ribbon: Warm Grey 3+1, Cardinal Red, Poppy, Lipstick Red
Deer: Walnut, Terracotta, Spice
Snow: Pastel Blue, Ice Grey 1
Blender

And I have sprinkled some Stickles on all the white and snow.

Sarah Kays Josephine…

Hi there everyone! I know it´s not long before a it´s actually first Sunday of Advent! And next weekend there are the annual Christmas Fair here, and there is no snow yet!!! That´s not usual for being here in Sweden I can tell you.
But, today Im not going to show you any christmas card. Im squeezing in a soft pink and brown card with Sarah Kays wonderful Josephine cuddling her pet cat Kiki:

I cut out the brames and base with my nesties and distressed all the edges with Tea Dye and Walnut Stain.

I colored the image with Promarkers on Letraset Cartridge Papers (270 gr).

I used the following colors:
Skin: Sunkissed Pink, Dusky Pink, Blush, Ivory
Hair: Walnut, Cocoa, Sandstone
Clothes, pink: Antique Pink, Sunkissed Pink, Pale Pink
Clothes, purple: Shale, Lilac, Lavender
…and finaly the Blender.
