Sarah Kay – Laura and Henri

image and a sentiment from the new Tina Wenke With Love set. The booksmark’s base has been cut with the Cricut from Bazzill Dot Cardstock. The hydrangea pattern paper was from my stash and I added some picket fence crackle paint to get a vintage look. Laura and Henri are colored with watercolor pencils. I cut them out and adhered them directly to the pattern paper. The sentiment has been cut with a Memory Box Primo Labels die. I still added some mulberry roses, gemstones and lace.

Hi Girls!!!

Today it’s my turn to show you my first CHA’s project with one of the new and absolutely sweet Sarah Kay images “Babette Sewing”.

I really love all the new Sarah Kay images, and dont’ forget also all the new Tina Wenke Sentiments, for all occasions.

I colored the image with Distress Reinker. The Paper is from Maja design “Fika Colelction”.

I distressed the edges with Distress Walnut Stain and I sewed all the borders.

For my card today I decided to use a Sarah Kay image called Marguerite taking Ruben for a Walk.  I colored this image with Promarkers quite some time ago and recently found it in my stash.  I love little surprises like that!  It made my card come together so quick.  Do you color images and save them for later use?  I think I should add this to my New Year’s resolutions.

The paper I used is from the K&Company Sweet Nectar pad.  I love the prints…so pretty and cheery!  I haven’t followed a sketch for a long time so it was fun to use this one I happened to see.

I have coloured her using markers, chalks and white pen, I have used of scraps of papers and distressed the edges, added some pearls a simple sentiment and a selection of flowers, I have as always added some stardust, after all a little lady needs a bit of sparkle, thank you so much for looking today, biggest of hugs love Pops x x x

Can you believe that Christmas is all over and that we have 2012 now? I’m already missing Christmas time! What about winter where you live? We don’t have snow or anything but I nevertheless are in the mood to make some wintery cards. And I found out that I love to make clean and simple cards over the holidays! That’s why I took

and made this card! I stamped the Sarah Kay image with VersaFine black to watercolor paper and added a matching sentiment. After that I drew a frame around both. I colored with Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils. The cardstock is Bazzill. Like I said before – clean and simple – but I like it!
