She is just so pretty and fun with that mask – and she was perfect for my challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar for a card with a “Royal” theme – so the sentiment also from Leere Aldrich along with the Party Girl made a great birthday card!

My pattern papers are from DCWV Linen Closet collections, LOVE the glitter on these papers! I colored with my Copics – and high lighted with shimmerz and with stickles! The mat behind my Party Girl is punched with Martha Stewarts Jumbo corner punch, Double Arches.

Have a great day!

Hello! I have a lot to share today so it’s a long post, folks! I hope you bear with me! First I will share two of my CHA cards. Are you enjoying the daily inspiration here from the design team? They created such fabulous cards and projects for the booth and it looked great!

My first card was made with the very sweet Gillian Roberts image called Flower Girl. I started with a pre-cut card base and made a frame with some Nestabilities die-cut scraps I had left over from a previous project. The word “hi” is from the Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet. I loved the simple design of this card and the Flower Girl image just makes me happy!

For my second card, I started with another pre-cut card base and used the too, too cute image by Tina Wenke called…TuTu Cute! She is so fun to color! Again, I used the Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet for the sentiment. And a tiny bit of Stickles was added to both cards to finish them off. I ♥ those knees and boots! LOL.

I have been having fun coloring up the new releases! Each one is cuter than the last! But I also love all of the previous collections, so I pulled out some Leere Aldrich images that I was itching to stamp.

This one is called Shopping Girl and I paired it with the Sentiments A set. The paper used here is from Scribble Scrabble, the Simply Stylish collection. After seeing the corner punch used by Heidi on some of her cards, I just had to have it! LOL. Love those corners! And my mind started seeing it used a few other different ways….here I punched an extra one and gave my credit card some “wings”. It’s a fast, action-packed card! LOL. The wings were outlined with Stickles and I used Copics to draw stripes and dots on the credit card and shopping bags. Two shoes were cut from the paper and shaded with Copics to accent the words.

Here’s the inside…a tiny dot of Stickles was added to the bow and the pup’s head.

Now there’s one more thing that I wanted to share and that is pics of YOU, our Stampavie friends who stopped at the booth at CHA. These are just a few of the ladies who took some time from their busy day to sit down and chat with us and make a card. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! It was great meeting you!

We had visitors from all over the world…Australia, Russia, Italy, Singapore, etc., etc. What fun! And these two ladies were from right there in California….they made some great cards!

This next pic is of two nice ladies from Isreal. Their cards were wonderful too and they taught me something I didn’t know. In Isreal since they write from right to left, they open their cards from the left! How interesting!

That’s it for today…thanks for reading to the end and have a great day!

My niece Graduated this past week. Seriously… I can’t believe it, it was just a couple of years ago a toddler in my living room being told not to pull the cats tail.. while learning to walk around the coffee table. But now she is graduating High School and planning her College career!

Well I had to come up with a graduation card and wanted it to pop! So I started with my New Sizzix Big Shot Pro 6×6 envelope die. I don’t use it as an envelope though.. well sort of I do cuz I don’t put the card in and envelope.. but I really make it the card and present all in one. A yellow card stock was used, and then I pulled out a bunch of Sentiments… all that work together for a Graduation Card for a teen. I stamped all over the card stock in all different directions to create my own pattern paper of sorts. I used my dark red Copic and colored in some of the shapes. A Black Dotted ribbon is run through the back of the card out to the front to use as a tie to keep the scalloped front closed.

As you untie and open you get this… an almost presentation of your inside image and pattern papers. I found a piece of graduation paper in my stash and matted it with a deep red card stock. then I also found a piece of paper that looks like notebook paper… like how that fits the theme :0)

I used my favorite Graduate stamp… I just love Stampavie’s Leere Aldrich Graduation Girl image – too cute if you ask me – stylish Grad with a cute purse, puppy and boots! I colored with my Copics with a yellow coloring behind her – wanted a sort of glow about her.. a TA DA spot light I guess. I cut her and a mat with my long scallops Nesties.

I made a hidden pocket behind the “notebook” paper for her present.. :0) I think she liked it.. he he.

Hope you liked it too! ;0)

Thanks to one of our readers, Jean Fitch from Jackonville Oregon, this 45 year old mystery has been solved. How cool is that?! Well done Jean!

Michelle (http://www.donkeysmiles.blogspot.com/)

Here’s my project, a Shopping bag/book using the Leerè Aldrich collection.

I had great fun creating this one. The stamps are just so fun, easy and quick to color!

Before I got started I asked myself what does EVERY woman need?

A handbag, right It should be a handy size and fancy looking.

We also need a credit card to go with it, and what does every crafting woman need? You all know this…stamps, papers, die cuts, embellishments…the list is always pretty endless LOL as we always NEED something to add to our crafting stash.

Now what if the credit card says NO for this month and we need to be patient, but we’ve seen so many of those MUST HAVES…..then we need a notepad to write everything down so that as soon as the credit card says GO again, we don’t waste any time searching for all of those items again.

So I thought why not combine it all? and VOILA…may I present you my shopping bag/book.

Made out of 1/8″ thick card board and covered with We R Memorykeepers Tiffany papers, lots of bling, the unlimited credit card (I wish I had one) and of course the Leerè Shopping Girl!

Inside I’ve got the ring binder mounted and 3 different colours of note cards. If you really want to have your wish list organized, then you could add tabbed dividers and separate categories like “papers” then “stamps” etc.

This week at the Magnolia Vs. Stampvie Challenge there is a color challenge – Black, White and Red! A dramatic color combo I think – and perfect for a Congrats card for a Graduate don’t you think?

I started with the the Stampavie Leere Aldrich image Graduation Girl isn’t she just so smart looking! And I love that she has her little poodle under her arm! As per the challenge I used my Copics and dressed her all in black and Red. To high light her I used Sakura Glaze pens… really pops on the black dress. I cut with my Nestibilities oval, matted with a larger red oval and doodled the edges with the glaze pen.

The base of the card is Bazzil Black card stock, with DCWV pattern paper, white card stock punched with a Martha Steward Double Dot Scallop punch backed with red card stock. It is all stitched down with the glaze pen. I then added a layer of gingham black and white ribbon, and a white Prima flower, and red Micheals bridal flower. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is punched with a Stampin Up Word Window punch.

I have so much fun with all of these Leere Aldrich images! They just have so much personality to them… why not check out all of the images and while there check out the new Stampavie Web Site!!! And keep checking back because there is lots more fun stuff coming really soon!

HUGS

There is so much talent from the DT and we are all so excited to share our cards that I figured I would take my turn today and just show two cards in one post… hope you like them both.

First is one of my all time favorite Sarah Kay’s… I wanted to share this card to remember we don’t always have to have pattern paper… and with the help of this large 5×7 stamp with a wonderful sentiment I think this card might just be where Sarah Kay images live…

“One hundred years together – Would surely be too few – For every day , all over again … I fell in Love with you. D Morgan.” To give the card a bit more shape and stand out, the card itself is cut to be just the size of the rectangle, with the tree line popping off the card (still fitting in a 5×7 size) The image is pop dotted off the card to give her more deminsion.

My second card is one of the fun Leere Aldrich images -

For the base I used a cream colored Bazzil card stock – it is one of those bling card stock so it has a shine to it. The pattern papers.. how gorgeous are they? They are new to me, I got a new K&Company stack by Brenda Walton – these papers are so pretty. They remind me of my Grandma.

I sewed down each layer with a zig zag stitch, then very slowly sewed down the lace with a straight stitch. The lace is a really gorgeous color in person – was lucky enough to buy a few different colors of this more expensive lace at a 50% sale at JoAnn’s a while back. So when on sale don’t forget those by the yard fancy ribbons and lace!

Of course my image is colored with my Copics, and then the bubbles are stickled. I just love this Stampavie Leere Alrich image… she is just too much fun to color – and you have to love all them bubbles with the puppy popping out! A few pearl buttons with sheer ribbon to tie them up and this card just has a vintage feel that I do believe my Grandma would have loved.. she would have loved the puppy in the tub too… LOL

Hope you enjoy – and if you have a chance I have some blog candy on my personal blog.. with some fun images I think we all love.. wink wink!

HUGS -

How flippin adorable is that?!

I used a sketch posted on my blog, I altered the sketch a bit by adding the ribbon, and sentiment circle. (sentiment is fromPTI Wise Owl set)

I LOVE the owls in non-traditional colors. Inspired by MORE SU! paper! LOL!

I have had these owls Hoo-Hoo There from Stampavie’s Rachelle Anne Miller line-for MONTHS! They were the first image I bought from them, and FINALLY got to use it. I LOVE owls.

These are the CUTEST owls ever.

I cut their eyes/beaks to make them POP!

As you can tell lately Im all about POP!! Nothing is better than 3D!! A simple quick way to make a WOW!

I colored them with Copic markers, sponged some ink, and added some glitter.

Done.

I hope you like them. I think everyone needs this image
