Shabby chic “Thinking of you”

Good morning everybody!

Today, I thought I show you a card using a sentiment only.

I LOVE Shabby chic! I’ve only just managed to paint all my thrifted furniture white and soft grey and if I’d only have the space and the ok from DH (for him this is enough to have the living and dining room area in this style LOL) I’d go on and on.

This card with its soft colors, the bit of lace and the half pearls just meets this style perfectly.

Not everybody likes to receive a card with a cute image on it and so I thought that I show how nice a card can be with just a lovely sentiment from Tina Wenke WDSSM3 Celebrate. The other advantage is that a card like this is made really fast and easy, so if you very quickly need a nice looking card, I’d say that this is a very good solution.

Materials used:

Stampavie WDSSM3 Celebrate by Tina Wenke (contains 5 sentiment stamps)

Bazzill Cardstock cream

Patterned paper from the Girls Papperie and My Minds Eye “Lost and Found” collection

Border and Butterfly punch from Martha Stewart

Half pearls from Melissa Frances

Chipboard clock face from Heidi Swapp

Die cuts from Spellbinders

Ink Memento Tuxedo black and Ranger Distress Vintage Photo for the edges

Some lace and rhinestone brads

Hope you all have a nice day (it’s raining over here-again)

Hugs,

Heidi
