Happy Monday! Can you believe it’s November already? That means Christmas is right around the corner. Here in New York it is beginning to feel like Christmas too. The weather has gotten quite chilly, we had to turn on the furnace and there actually were a few wet flakes yesterday. Brrr!
I continue to slowly work on my cards for Christmas. Stampavie has so many fabulous images for the season. I took a bit of a break from cards to make a cute gift of chocolate kisses. I used the adorable Gillian Roberts image called “Mistletoe and Mice”.
I wanted a play on words to go with the Hershey Kisses in the bag so I generated the sentiment on the computer. The image was colored with Copic markers and some shading with Prismacolor Pencils/Gamsol. I went over their noses with a black glaze pen and added a bit of clear Sakura glitter marker over the berries. I used a Spellbinder die to make the base tag into a card tag. There is plenty of room inside to write a note. The bag is just a cello bag tied off with ribbon and twine.
Don’t those mice just make you happy? Now mice in real life…well that is a different story, lol!
