Teddie’s stocking

Hi! How are you? Do you enjoy your summer? I hope so! I enjoy my summer days and I’m making Christmas cards *grin*. I just couldn’t resist to take the cute new Teddie’s stocking image from the newest Laurence collection. It’s so much fun to color these cuties! And you don’t have to wait a long time anymore until the new Stampavie Christmas stamps will be available at your local or fave store.

I used Bazzill cardstock for the card’s base and Basic Grey Eskimo kisses pattern paper. I have to say that it wasn’t easy to work with this white background. I really needed hours until I found the right embellishments to finish this card. I used some Prima Flowers, brads, a Martha Stewart pine border punch, Scrapper’s Floss, small buttons and a Bosskut die cut for the card. I faux stitched around the card’s edges with a brown glitter pen.

sav_stocking_imageI colored the image with watercolor pencils and added some accents with a white gel pen and I took a Tombow pen for the shadow around the image. Isn’t this bear cute? I love it! There are three more of these cuties in the new release beside a ton of other cute images. Do you already have some on your “must have” lists?
