Hello again! I hope you enjoy our 40 days of CHA samples as much as I do. It’s so exciting to see all the wonderful CHA projects day after day, isn’t it? And with them the new Stampavie collections which are absolutely a must-have for us stampers.

Today I have a Penny Johnson sneak peek for you, the image is from her new collection and called “Sweet Dreams“.

As soon as I saw this image between all the stamps I knew that I would make a blue card with it. How cute is that little girl holding her candle in the night? And she is sooo tired! I used blue Core’dinations & light yellow Bazzill cardstock for my card. The pattern paper is from Darcie’s Country Folks. The image has been cut out with rectangle Spellbinders. For the word “dream” I used the oval Stampin’ Up! punches. I added some green ribbon, punched a border with one of my EK Success border punches and added some QuicKutz stars after I inked the edges in brown with glittery brads. All the blue cardstock’s egdes are sanded.

I used Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils from Faber-Castell to color the image. For the cheeks I used pink blending chalk and added some freckles with a white gel pen. The white dots on her hat are made with a white ZIG chalk pen.
