CHA Samples Day 15

Hello! I’m back home from CHA in cold Germany *brrr*. I really miss all the wonderful palmtrees and the sun in California! Today it’s my turn again and I want to show you my CHA cards I made with some of  the new Gillian F Roberts images.

This is “Being together” and I decorated a paper gift bag with it. The cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper is Chatterbox. I love the colors! And how cute is this image? Oh I really like Gillian’s teddybears! I added tan jute ribbon, pink flowers with matching spacer and brads and pink gemstones to the bag’s layout. The sentiment is from Rachelle Anne Miller, it is perfectly fitting into the SU oval punches.

“Daisy Chain” is also cute, isn’t it? I really enjoyed coloring. By the way, there was a comment on my last previews were someone asked me which color medium I’m using for my images. I’m using the Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils from Faber Castell. You’ll also find a watercoloring tutorial on my blog. For my card’s base I used Bazzill cardstock, the pattern paper is Imaginisce. I added some borders punched with one of the big Martha Stewart punches, different flowers, pink gemstones, pink ribbon and wonderful beige Tilda ribbon. The sentiment is from Rachelle. I used different Spellbinders for the sentiment and the images and faux-stitched around the image.

Yes! There are also some really cute boy images coming with our new release. This is “Soccer Crazy” and they loved this image at CHA! I also like it alot and I really enjoyed making this card after I found matching colors. The cardstock is SU, the pattern paper Imaginisce again. I used Spellbinders for the image, a Martha Stewart punch for the blue border and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the kraft border. I added green ribbon, a little blue Bazzill button with green Scrapper’s Floss and alot of QuicKutz grass and flowers . Rachelle’s sentiment is punched out with oval SU punches again.
