This week the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge was to create a Monochrome card – I love the look of these cards – all though I tend to go more on the side of lots of color with most of my cards.. LOL.
I decided to go with shades of brown for my Monochrome card-and started with a brand new image from Stampavie’s artist – Penny Johnson! These cuties are called “Puppy and Kitten”… adorable huh? I just love these two! Wish my puppy and kitten could stay still and look this sweet!
I colored with my Copics – and then went to work on my card – starting off with the pattern papers from Papertrey Ink -
I matched with a brown Bazzil Card stock – then a white for the mats. I punched a Martha Stewart Loop border – and then sewed everything down – The ribbon is also from Papertrey Ink, I tied it around one of the patterns, with a large bow. The sentiment is also from Stampavie!!! It is from Rachelle Anne Millers newest collection – there are two sets to choose from and you will love them both!
