Noel Charity
I love to watercolor the Sarah Kay images. They are so beautiful and detailed and adding gorgeous color seems to pop them to life. I especially loved painting Noel Charity.

I painted the shade lines of the door and clothing by applying a dark mixture of reinker and water and then going back with a brush filled with plain water and pulling the color out to the open spaces of the image. I applied Liquid Applique with a small brush to the pompom on the hat and to the steps and heated. I wanted the image to be the main star of the project so I simply framed in all green with only the white mat. I thought the red and white gingham multi loop bow was the perfect embellishment to contrast with the green and to pull out the red of the clothing.
