Today I will show you a new card that I just made for Christmas. The lovely stamp is from Sarah Kay. The little girl takes a peek inside the church, to see what is going on.
As you can see I have tried to make the little girl look a little bit curious. She wants [...]
I had a great time this weekend creating a project with Noel Eve. Each of the Noel Collections bring back memories of old-fashioned holidays. I stamped the image on watercolor paper and again on scrap watercolor with black craft ink and heat set. I painted all the images using reinkers and then began cutting out the [...]
This box I have made for a wedding. The image of Sarah Kay, was to me, just perfect for this box. I have made the box a few weeks ago, but I forgot to post it on the blog. I thought it is worth showing you this one. So here it is.
It may get boring to start every blog post that I write with the fact that I love Sarah Kay’s images but I can’t help myself. For this card I have used the following materials:
I love to watercolor the Sarah Kay images. They are so beautiful and detailed and adding gorgeous color seems to pop them to life. I especially loved painting Noel Charity.
I painted the shade lines of the door and clothing by applying a dark mixture of reinker and water and then going back with [...]
Heya peeps I’m finding it rather odd that I’m actually here posting on the Stampavie blog – yeah, little ol’ me!!!
I chose the adorable Noel Shepherd for my first official DT card, isn’t he a cutie? I’m sure I have a photo of my big Horror somewhere looking pretty similar to this [...]
I’ve been a little under the weather lately, but if ANYTHING makes me smile, I adore this cute penguin from “Penguin and Tree” image from Gillian Roberts. Have you seen Gillian’s ADORABLE collection of cute, fuzzy, and festive critters on the Stampavie website? They are so adorable and just make me want to [...]
