Hi everyone!

Hopefully you are all gearing up for a crafty week and can participate in our bookmark challenge…unfortunately due to a little mishap in my own planning (can you say DUH!?) I am still working on mine but can’t wait to get to it!

I did however, get to play with the new Gillian F. Roberts line this past weekend and OH MY CUTENESS!!!   I am typically one of those people who don’t like to get right to winter stamps…you know, enjoy the fall a bit, etc…but I can honestly tell you these cutie patooties are getting me into the holiday spirit QUITE early!  I LOVE them!

For my card today I used some cute snowflakes I had from Marcella by K and after coloring with my Copics, I added Liquid Applique to the little bear’s hat to give it a puffy look.  Liquid Applique is definitely one of my favorite embellishments to use for winter and holiday cards, especially!  I just love the look it gives, don’t you?

For the upcoming season, you’ll be seeing a lot of non-traditional Christmas colors in my cards, I think.  I am gearing toward fun pinks/blues such as this card here and I also really love the vintage look on kraft paper.  For some reason I gravitate to this more than the  traditional red/green.   What do you think?   What do you prefer?   I’d love to hear your thoughts so feel free to comment and let us know!  Looking forward to it…
