My Lollipop for Susan Gift Baggie/Box

Well since JayJay has shown you her 3-d item.. I thought it would be a perfect follow up to her adorable project to show mine! All the details about our personal challenge can be found in the previous post… as JayJay has already given the details… so on to my project with the great template from Papertrey Ink and fellow Stampavie DT Lauren Meader!
Cute or what???? I found this gorgeous paper in my stash from Graphic 45 Playtimes past collection, this is two sided paper that is just luxurious. Being two sided is a must when you are planning to see the inside of the item, and I just love the contrast between these two patterns.

Now I planned to use one of the new Stampavie Sarah Kay images for my art on the front of the little box. This is “A lollipop for Suzan” – cut with my oval Nesties. Then matted with a red larger oval. I found these cute little flower in my box of flowers, and they just seemed perfect to match. I then punched one Martha Stewart frond leaf punch and cut it apart and used each individual leaf for the tiny little flowers.

Here you can see the box opened up the two pieces are attached in the center… and yes it is perfect for sending that perfect little gift to a friend.. like a new Sarah Kay stamp!!

I inked the edges of my template to give it shadows. So what do you think?  I think I am really having fun with our personal 3-D challenge the “MichJay” Challenge…

Thanks JayJay for being such a great friend to “play” with me… and a great fellow Stampavie DT to work with! Can’t wait for the next challenge!
