Yesterday was the 20th, this means it was time for another MichJay Challenge and this is our No. 3. It’s a personal challenge between my friend Michelle and me. Some time ago we were speaking about that there are so many cool 3D projects out there and that we almost only make cards. So we decided to also make 3d things and that’s why we have the monthly MichJay Challenge now! For this one we purchased a template from Papertrey.Ink. Our lovely Lauren is designing templates for Papertrey.Ink and we decided to take the “Ready, Set, Wrap” template. This is a really cute giftbag and 5 Dollar aren’t in my opinion too much for it!

You will get the template as PDF files which you only have to print out (2 sites) and then you can start. I printed the template onto thicker paper so I can use it again and again. For my little giftbag I used American Crafts pattern paper or better cardstock. Later I saw that I could have take different papers so you could see the handle better but I think it’s also cute like it is now. The image is one of the new Helz Cuppleditch images by Stampavie called “Teddy say it with Flowers“. How cute is it?

This one is made really fast and throug it’s beautiful design it’s really special. I tried to add some embellishments but in the end I only added some mini ribbon and it was finished. I inked the edges with olive chalk ink pad but that’s all.

I colored “Teddy say it with Flowers” with my new ProMarker pens. I know, I still have to learn alot and YES I’m totally crazy that I started with markers again *giggle*. But I couldn’t resist! I really like the colors from Letraset ProMarkers and will hopefully learn to work with them soon.

Did you already see the whole Helz Cuppleditch Collection? It will be released in the end of August and the images are too cute! But that’s not all. If you are already looking at the new collections you should really take a look at our new Christmas line from Gillian F Roberts. Wow! So many new designers and collections. I really can’t tell you which ones I like the most. They are all the cutest in their own way!
