Here I am with another turtle work. Diane’s bookmark is really cute isn’t it? As she told me about her bookmark I decided to use the turtles, too. I can’t believe that I didn’t use them until last weekend as I have turtles as pets. So here’s my card:

stamps: RAM “Playtime” by Stampavie, Sentiments by me
ink pads: Memento Rich Cocoa
papers: Bazzill Cardstock, Basic Grey Eva Pattern Paper
accessories: Spellbinders Oval & Oval Scalloped & Ribbon Tags, Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Mini Button Brads, MS Punch, QK Leaves
pencils: Albrecht Dürer & Supracolor II Soft Watercolor Pencils

I used the wonderful Basic Grey paper from the Eva series because I think it’s perfectly matching to the turtles. The new Martha Stewart punch I got from my friends last weekend I just had to try for this one. The sentiments are by myself.

I also used Eva, my new MS punch and one of my own stamps for the card’s inside. Finally I’m using my QuicKutz shapes more and more again. I inked the edges of the Prima Flowers with brown Memento and a sponge.

I really enjoyed coloring the cute turtles. I used my Albrecht Dürer (Faber Castell) and Suprasoft II Soft (Caran d’Ache) Watercolor Pencils. The Suprasoft pencils are cheaper than the Albrecht Dürer pencils and you can buy them in wonderful pastel colors. That’s why I bought some of them to extend my collection in the last years.
