It’s soooooooo cold and grey outside here in France at the moment! What else therefore than fighting the yearly winter depression with some paper crafts?
I really enjoyed making these, although right now my crafting space looks more like a war zone! Cleaning up all those little scraps of paper, scrubbing my crafting mat and picking up tiny bits and bobs which have found their way into every corner of the room is not my favorite job.
This “winter wonderland” card is made using the Snowman stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller, and the sentiment comes from a set from Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps. Thank you sooo much Korin!!! (she also sent me a gorgeous Sarah Kay card which I will show on the blog tomorrow when the light is better)
My second card today is based on Sarah Kay Christmas Preparations and I’ve made it for our second PCP challenge. We would love to see all you guys joining in. Why don’t you come over and visit us sometime? Ok, I have to admit that I’m not always present myself, as usually I’m either packing and shipping orders, counting and sorting new arrivals, choosing the next collections, doing accounting or other business activities, BUT… I’m still sometimes able to write…so you can’t totally escape me *LOL*
And finally for today…
I’m so proud about this as I’m not good in “building” things from chipboard. I’m always so in awe of those who create those wonderful boxes, purses, etc. I’ve tried so many times, much to the pleasure of my ever-hungry paper bin *LOL* only to be frustrated by yet another “misconstruction”.
After lots of measuring and instructions-following (I downloaded the plans from the web. What would we all do without the web? I’d be lost without it, and would miss out on so many fab friends I’ve met through the internet) here is…. a expandable file-folder bag.
The original had a ribbon closure and no handle, but I decided that it needs a handle and I used a magnetic closure on the flaps I added at the side. I used 3 mm chipboard and the wonderful cover paper comes from Kaisercraft.
By for now, and wishing you all a peaceful time and lots of fun with your stamps!
Heidi

These are so beautiful, Heidi! I LOVE the snowman card…just gorgeous! I am so glad I found this website a while back and really enjoy looking at everyones work. It was great to hear from you on the blog and it sounds like you’re doing a fabulous job getting orders taken and sent out! I can’t wait to order more stamps!
Heidi, these are all lovely! The file folder is so cool- way to go with the chipboard!
Wow all three are just wonderful! Although we all love you ordering, counting and sending out all of those wonderful stamps… you need to find more time to craft!!! Love them all!…. I think I may have to copy your expandable folder!
