Well with most of the Sarah Kay Christmas stamps shipped to our customers and my accounting done (yukkie – do I need to say more about accounting-surely not lol) I took some time to relax by making this card using the Sarah Kay-Christmas Preparations stamp.
It’s been really fun and although I had to use a sketch to help me a bit after my long stamping abstinence, I’m very pleased with the way it turned out.
For the coloring I used different mediums such as Polychromos pencils (Faber Castell) as well as red, gold and white Gel pens to set some accents in the baubles etc.
For the Background I just simply used a cuttlebug embossing folder and sponged it slightly with Versamagic Jumbo Java. The flowers are punched out and given extra dimension using an dry embossing tool. The circles have been cut using nestabillities dies.
