Jay Jay and I both loved this new Christmas Image for this weeks Sarah Kay Challeng Blog sketch. I  think she is so fun, love those bell bottom pants! And she is perfect to use for Birthday cards too!

I colored her with my Copics to match the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper, that I thought was perfect with all the presents. I matted with the red Basic Grey papers. Now I decided that I wanted the actual card stock to be the scallops on the right side. So I folded my card then punched it with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, then to make the “lace” show more I layered a piece of the red paper behind it. I used a Satin ribbon for the center band across the middle. Now we know it needed some bling right? Well I found a package of Heidi Swapp Bling Ruby frames, I cut them a part and made borders on the ribbon, and corners on the image. Then for just a bit more detail I gel pen stitched the borders of everything.

Avec Jay Jay, j’adore cette image pour le Sarah Kay Challeng Blog sketch. Je pense que’elle est tellement fun, j’adore ses jeans! et elle est parfaitement adaptée aux cartes d’anniversaires aussi !

J’ai colorié la carte avec mes crayons Copics afin d’être en harmonie avec les papiers Basic Grey Figgy Pudding qui va très bien avec les cadeaux dans l’image. J’ai créé le fond avec le papiers Basic Grey en rouge.

J’ai voulu créé l’effet scallop avec le cardstock à droite, j’ai donc plié la carte et utilisé le punch Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, puis j’ai renforcé la broderie avec du rouge derrière. J’ai employé un ruban satin pour le centre. Alors, il a fallu rajouté du bling, non? J’ai trouvé une boite de cadres Heidi Swapp Bling Ruby, je les ai coupé pour créé les bordures sur le ruban, et sur le coins de l’image. Finalement, j’ai rajouté le faux tricotage avec un style gel autour.
