Fanny’s cuddle
I made this card a little while ago, when one of my best friends went away to Japan for a year. The text stamp says “good luck on your journey”.

I’ve used the Sarah Kay stamp “Fanny’s cuddle”, text stamp from Papirloftet, papers from Basic Grey and Making Memories, flowers and bling from Prima, lace, embroidery floss, calendar from Elles Studio and chipboard heart from Heidi Swapp.

I love all of the Rachelle Anne Miller images, but I really have a soft spot for Peek-a-Boo, just love this little kitty! I colored him with Copics and Spica Glitter pens. The pattern papers are all from older lines of Basic Grey. Prima Flowers, buttons and Ribbon for embellishments, the sentiment is from a local stamp store and the card it is stamped on is from K&Company. I love to sew on my cards on this I used my trusty White Gel pen to stitch down the edges. Hope you like my Kitty and if you would like more details please visit my blog Donkey Smiles. I think those frogs and sheep images are calling me now - ;0)

I couldn’t decide which Rachelle Anne Miller image to stamp first (they are all so yummy!), so I closed my eyes and picked one. LOL. This is Lily- Cute Kitty. First I decided to make a gray kitty and then I chose the color of her dress to go with the gray. I like pink and yellow together so my card evolved from there.
I hope you are having a good week!

A Paper Pieced Sweet Lili -
Don’t you just love the look of a cozy winter flannel night gown? Well on this card Lili has her’s on ready for the cool nights coming!
I thought it would be fun to paper piece a gigham piece of pattern paper over her Copic colored image to give her a cozy night gown. Fun to do and SUPER EASY! All you have to do is stamp your image onto any pattern paper, carefully cut out the pieces that you would like to place over your colored image. I could have even made the Teddy Bear have a pattern dress. For tiny pieces or large backgrounds it give such a fun layer to your images. I will give you a hint though using a craft knife is so much easier than scissors, and even easier if you cut on a glass cutting mat.
For the details on my card other than the paper piecing please see my blog Donkey Smiles -
