It’s the weekend again, yay! Today I am sharing a card I have made using the adorable Sarah Kay Jean-Luc playing all with Claude. Of course I just had to colour Claude to look like my beloved cavalier Rosie Posie. I have used Copics to colour the image.

I have used the gorgeous October Afternoon papers (how perfect are these for this adorable image), did some machine stitching around the edges then die cut some Sizzix stars and popped buttons on them.

Whatever your plans are for the weekend, I hope it’s a great one for you!

Happy Thursday! It will soon be the weekend again…yay!
Today it’s my turn to post and here’s the card I made to share with you. (Thanks for the positive responses on our 40 days of CHA samples and we listened when you said you were sad to see it end. So we will try our best to continue posting a fresh new sample each day!) Here I used one of the new Helz Cuppleditch images called Flower Planters. It has such a warm, country feel!
I need to send out a few thank you notes and I think I may use this for one of them. The front was left without a sentiment and I’ll write a personal message on the inside.

I used the same butterfly punch and some leftover paper scraps to decorate the inside a bit…

Thanks for stopping by!

 Hello everyone,
Today I am going to show you a card witch I have made with a beautiful stamp from Gillian Roberts. It is a very sweet stamp. This card, I have made for a new born baby in my family, she is called Elske.

This card is made on blue/green Cardstock. The papers I have used are from Fancy Pants Designs and from My Mind’s Eye. I love these colours and the Vintage look. I have used several ribbons. The centers are from Prima Marketing, just as the flowers. The leaves and Butterflies are made with a punch from Martha Stewart. For the final touch I have used some Stickles.
The letters I have made with the paper from My Mind’s Eye.
I have used the following colours of Distress Ink: Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Tattered Rose, Brushed Corduroy, Black Soot and Weathered Wood.
Thank you for visiting our blog!
Hugs,
Monique.

As we all loved the daily fresh cards on our Stampavie blog we thought it would be fun to fill it daily with new cards in the future as well. So let’s start with one of the new Sarah Kay stamps “Lynette collecting her vegetables” and my new “baby”.

I own a Cricut now and I love it! I always thought that I wouldn’t need a tool like this “only for cards” but since months I didn’t get that tool out of my head. What a luck that I have a wonderful family and so lovely friends who gave me the money for my birthday two weeks ago, to make my wish come true. Now here it is – my first Cricut card! Cool huh? I just love that “Cricut-binders” *lol*. The cardstock is Bazix and the pattern paper BasicGrey.

I didn’t add much to my card because the pattern of the paper is so big, but I couldn’t resist to add some pink ribbon, mulberry roses and branches nevertheless. I colored Lynette with watercolor pencils from Faber Castell and inked the paper’s edges with my Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad which I also used for the image. I hope you like my small card, it’s fitting into a normal envelope. After I spent a lot of money at the post office for my big square cards yesterday I thought I could make some smaller cards again…

I am loving all of these brand new Stampavie Gillian Roberts images! This is “Looking at you” – I just love it! fun to color, and a butterfly! You’ll see why I was so excited about that butterfly in just a second… :0) I colored with my Copics, then used a bit of the Spica glitter pens on the butterfly and her shirt. Can you see that? I don’t think so… darn it! Trust me it really is sparkly in person…LOL
Now why I was so excited about that butterfly! I just got a small stack of the new DCWV Mariposa papers!!!! Oh my have you seen these papers? Do you have them yet? Ok you are really gonna have to have these if you don’t have them!!!! GORGEOUS Butterfly papers!! I have to now find me a 8×8 stack and a 12×12 stack.. this 4×6 stack is just not enough of these.

The orange paper is a really pretty graphic looking print.. but if you look really close it does have a butterfly pattern to it. The turquoise pattern has some larger really beautiful butterflies spread in one corner of it. But I think my favorite is the print with the millions of sparkling tiny little butterflies! Really lots of bling and gorgeous! I cut my image and a mat with my Nesties labels dies. I used a Fiskars Border punch for a lacy band across the bottom, topped with a piece of satin ribbon. The sentiment was just too perfect!! I found this stamp on clearance over a year ago at Hobby Lobby. I have never used it! But the 2.50 price tag on the side was well worth it when I saw it for this card! I cut it and matted it with the same Nesties labels dies. I felt the card needed something more.. so out came my Diamond Stickles and I dotted around the entire card. I LIKE it!
Hope you enjoyed my butterflies.. and the look at the new Stampavie image! Lovin these new stamps!!! And they are going to be in your stores right away!!! (hint hint.. they have started shipping out!!! Does your LSS have their order in? Better find out cuz these are the hottest stamps of the season!!)

I hope you have enjoyed the CHA sneak peeks as much as I have. It reminds me of how many cards I still want to make using these amazing images!
I can’t believe I still have a few Sarah Kay stamps from the last release that have never been inked up! Poor little Lucy was feeling very neglected

I have gone back to some very old favourites, this K&Co pad is one of the first I bought and there is so little of it left too. I coloured Lucy with Kitty with distress inks, Inkadinks and Twinkling H2O’s.
